Karachi, Shaikh Shakeel Ahmed Dhingra Vice President FPCCI (Elect) & Chairman FPCCI Standing Committee on Liaison with Federal Board of Revenue FBR Thursday said FBR accepting long outstanding demand of FPCCI, has relaxed condition of providing NTN/CNIC number of unregistered buyers/ sellers in monthly sales tax return submitted by registered persons. The notification to this effect would be issued on February 3, 2012.
He said FPCCI, since issuance of SRO 821(I)/2011 on September 6, 2011, under leadership of Senator Haji Ghulam Ali, President FPCCI, has been collectively striving hard for relaxing condition of mentioning NTN/CNIC number in sales tax return submitted by RPs, as it was practically not possible keeping in view of ground realities prevailing in the country such as non-tax culture, low literacy rate etc.
