Karachi : National Bank of Pakistan NBP has been ranked by The Banker as top bank of Pakistan in its Top 1000 World Banks ranking for year 2012 and once again outperformed all local banks operating in the country.
Top 1000 World Banks has been setting industry benchmark since 1970 by providing comprehensive intelligence about health and wealth of banking sector. The Banker is premier resource for world’s investment, retail and commercial banking sectors. It is key source of data, analysis for industry, providing global financial intelligence since 1926. NBP was also awarded Deals of Year DOTY Award by The Banker magazine of UK for its wind energy project. Qamar Hussain, NBP President received DOTY Award by Syed Shahjahan Salahuddin, Country Manager of The Banker at a ceremony.
