PRGMEA lauds efforts of Zafar

Karachi :   The value-added textile sector has lauded the efforts of outgoing Secretary Commerce, Zafar Mahmood for the promotion of exports. Central and Zonal Chairmen of Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PRGMEA)  Shehzad Salim and Atiq A Kochra have paid tributes to the outgoing Commerce Secretary Zafar Mehmood saying that under Mahmood’s watch, the commerce ministry took notable steps to enhance Pakistan’s trade. Pakistan’s Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with China, Most Favored Nation (MFN) status to India, negotiations on EU’s trade concessions package over 75 products and Pakistan’s bid for GSP Plus were some to the major accomplishments of the ministry under Mahmood’s tenure. PRGMEA wished the former commerce secretary all the best in his new position.
