Karachi : American Business Council of Pakistan (ABC) announced Wednesday that it will be holding their second ABC Economic Summit on Thursday 13th September 2012.
The speakers at the event will be both local and international, presenting perspectives from within Pakistan, as well as the US, India and the EU.
The Summit will address the following key questions:
What government policies are needed to drive disproportional TRADE growth? What are the key barriers which hamper TRADE and how can we eliminate them? What role can the private sector play to increase EXPORTS?How can international partners help Pakistan improve its TRADE performance?
The American Business Council of Pakistan (ABC) functions as the Chamber of Commerce of American businesses in the country. The ABC was formed in 1984 and it is the only single-country Chamber in Pakistan.
The ABC is affiliated with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) and is a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (USCC), Washington D.C., and Asia-Pacific Council of American Chambers of Commerce (APCAC), and is an affiliate member of the U.S.-Pakistan Business Council, Washington – a component of the USCC.
