Islamabad, Commerce Minister Makhdoom Amin Fahim says new Strategic Trade Policy Framework 2012-2015 is being formulated in order to effectively address major supply and demand challenges in trade.
Addressing Ministry of Commerce Advisory Council on Trade Policy meeting on Wednesday‚ he hailed exporters for doing great job to sustain a decent momentum in Pakistan’s exports despite enormous challenges including energy shortage and funding constraints.
The meeting deliberated on value addition in textile sector‚ Free Trade Agreement, lack of market access to United States‚ smuggling issues through Pak-Afghan border and non-trade barriers with India.
