QUETTA :   Continuing development process and maintaining peace and order is topmost priority of the government. Law and order situation in the Balochistan is not at all any hurdle in promotion of investment though some elements were creating impediment sin the way of development process by aggravating law and order situation. However government was not only fully aware of their evil designs but is fully capable to foil them.
And action against them was underway.
These views were expressed by Balochistan Chief Minsiter Nawab Aslam Raisani while speaking to a delegation of Lasbella Chamber of Commerce and industry which called on him under the leadership of its president Yaqoob H Kareem in Karachi Saturday.
Provincial ministers Zafar Zehri, Ali Madad Jattak, Chief Secretary Babar Yaqoob Fateh Muhammad, Inspector General Police Tariq Omar Khitab, Sardar Zafar Gichki, Chief Coordinator to Prime Minsiter Sadiq Sanjrani and Principal Secretary to Chief Minsiter Hafiz Abdul Basit were also present.
Chief Minsiter said Government has taken comprehensive measures for creating conducive atmosphere for investment in Balochistan while promotion of industrial development is also included in the government s priorities. He said financial and administrative discipline has been ensured to maintain law and order and continuing development process in the province.  He said an extremely balanced and best budget has been prepared for the current financial year including best measures for promotion of investment which would benefit investors.
Chief Minsiter invited foreign and inland investments to come and benefit form best environment of investment in the province and make printable investment tin minerals, industries, marine life and other sectors.
He said Pak-Iran gas pipeline would pass from districts of Gwadar and Lasbella. We have asked Federal government to install electricity generating plants from this pipeline for these tow districts to meet their energy requirements.  This would bring industrial revolution in these district and create employment opportunities.
He told that steps would be taken for supply of gas and other facilities for industries at Hub and Winder.
Members of delegation told Chief Minsiter federal government has earmarked funds for building Hub by pass. But there is delay in their release. They asked
Chief Minsiter federal government should be approached for early releae of these funds.
Meanwhile a delegation of Gaddani Ship Breaking Association headed by Dewan Rizwan also met with the Chief Minsiter and apprised him of problems of ship breaking industry.
Chief Minsiter said Gaddani ship breaking is included in big ship breaking industries of the world with which hundreds of people are earning their livelihood. Government also earns taxes form it.  He said government was taking steps for resolving problems facing this industry.
